PAT Testing

'Testing from as low as 85p per test'

Pat Testing or Portable Appliance Testing is a vital part of any Health & Safety system.

According to the Health & Safety Executive, each year there are approximately 1,000 work accidents involving electric shock or burns and a large number of them involve portable appliances.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places an obligation on employers using appliances within their place of work and where appliances are used by the public such as schools, care homes and hotels. Guidance issued by the Department of Trade and Industry advises estate agents, letting agents and landlords should seek independent advice as to who is responsible for the safety of electrical appliances supplied in the course of business. The frequency of the testing regime is dependent upon risk.
